Orientation Schedules

INFO 2020 will take place Wednesday, August 12 and Thursday, August 13. Optional sessions will also be offered on Friday, August 14th for faculty who wish to receive training on Blackboard and Online Teaching. 

How do I participate?

Islander New Faculty Orientation will be hosted on Attendify. You can access the event via the web or using a mobile device, by installing the Attendify app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

It is highly recommended to install the app and to enable Push notifications, in order to receive timely updates and to participate in social activities to gain points and win prizes.

Engage in the social stream to participate in the leaderboard challenges where you will be eligible to win prizes!

How do I get prizes?

1) Download the app, create your profile and enable push notifications! Or 2) Log into the website and create a profile. Throughout the day, we will be drawing for prizes. Participate in the leaderboard challenges and be eligible for more prize drawings. Challenges are designed to connect you to your Islander family and may include sharing a photo of your favorite travel destination or showcasing your favorite teaching tip!

How will new faculty obtain their keys?

New faculty will need to visit the key office in Physical Plant to pick up their keys. Department administrative associates are strongly encouraged to order keys for new faculty as soon as possible to ensure that keys will be ready by August 12, so please confirm with them prior to pick up. 

How will new faculty register for parking?

All parking registration is now being processed online via the TAMU-CC Parking Portal

How will new faculty pick up their SandDollar ID?

New Faculty can obtain their SandDollar$ ID by visiting the SandDollar$ Office on the first floor of the University Center. Faculty may have their photo taken in the SandDollar$ office or may also submit a photo by following these guidelines.
